Small Paintings

Many of these works are Plein air paintings that I might use as studies for larger studio pieces. Others are studio pieces that are done with something new in mind.  I like to try out new brushes, paints, techniques, and compositions on smaller canvases.  It helps me keep from running dry creatively.  All these small paintings are developed with archival materials and painted with the same attention to composition, longevity, and original creative purpose as the larger paintings I do.
